Winemaker Notes
An approachable Pinot noir blend made from barrels used in Winderlea’s vineyard designate program. A true winemaker’s blend built to be expressive and enjoyable in its youth. Classic Oregon Pinot noir color combine with the wonderful aromatics of cherry, fruit and spice. Pleasing texture and expressive fruit fill the mouth and palate with cherry, spice, and plum. Dried herbs and hints of orange peel add to this wine’s intrigue.
 
The aromatics of the wine are dusty and fruity with smashed raspberries, cedar chips, and a hint of fresh-rain-on-concrete. This swirls and evolves to show blackberry leaf, rooibos tea, and hibiscus. The nose has energy and nerve with a fresh, light quality that translates to a mellow and soft flavor. Watermelon, cocoa, and chocolate covered cherries spread out on an even and balanced palate that has poignant acidity and chalky-fine tannins. The wine is robust but not big, full but not heavy, and lingers long enough to carry you to the next sip.
