92 Points Wine Enthusiast

Rich fruit and warm baked good aromas may have you thinking you are about to have a biscuit slathered in blueberry jam instead of a Pinot Noir. This is a balanced and supple wine, wit a silky mouthfeel and flavors of boysenberries, dark chocolate and sage. Big time "yum factor" with this one.

92 points Vinous

A rich blend of raspberry sauce, grilled sage, cocoa and brown spice forms a seductive bouquet as the 2022 Pinot Noir Classic opens in the glass. This opens with a pretty inner sweetness while displaying an energetic core of ripe red and blue fruits. Gently tannic, the 2022 calls the taster back to the glass, leaving violet inner florals to slowly fade.

92 Points Decanter

What started as a non-estate project at Soter Vineyards, North Valley Vineyards, was sold in 2021 to Jay Lee. Sweet cherry aromatics, with lots of savoury herbs, show plenty of turned earth, rose hip oil, and raspberry leaf. With exotic brown spices and juicy strawberries and mint, it's a delicious wine and their entry-level bottling. This wine is built with site selection, a bottling of 8 Willamette Vineyards, Yamhill Carlton domnant, Ribbon Ridge and the Dundee Hills all play a role.

90 Points Wine Spectator

This charming Pinot is nicely structured and appealing for its lively cherry, orange peel and green tea accents. Finishes with refined tannins. Drink now through 2030.
