90 Points Jeb Dunnuck
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Station has very pretty, floral tones of violet candy, boysenberry, and a hint of blue fruit. The soft, floral feel continues to the palate, with mouth-filling fruit and a dark mineral texture. This super-pleasurable wine is ready to go now or over the next 5-6 years.
90 Points Wine Enthusiast
Earthy, leathery and brimming in concentrated red cherry and blackberry, this wine is immensely dense and velvety in texture. The oak is generous and adds a sweetness seasoned in baking spice.
Winemaker Notes
Abundant aromas of sweet ripe fruit bursts out of the glass. As with the aromas, on the palate you’ll find ample black berry, boysenberry, and black cherry. Lush on entry with ample fruit focused flavors, the secondary notes of dark chocolate with a hint of black licorice add to the complexity.
