Winemaker Notes
Organic. 70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Malbec
Beautiful red deep color. The nose shows fine notes of red fruits. The wine offers delicate oak aromas that are powerful and well-engrained. On the palate, the wine is elegant thanks to silky yet racy tannins. The wine has a long finish with a nice balance between the toasty oak and fruit notes. ~winery notes
The creation of this vineyard dates back to the 19th century. Since then, the vineyard has been owned by the same family. It is located on the east slopes of Saint Emilion, thus offering a perfect location. This clay soil gives fruity and expressive wines, with a beautiful texture in the mouth.
