91 Points-Wine Enthusiast-The Perrin family of Château Carbonnieux also produces this wine from an enclave in the estate. It is juicy, structured with Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine needs more time, so drink from 2026.

Winemaker Notes

Brilliant pale yellow, the 2021 Haut-Vigneau opens with a fresh, breezy bouquet of citrus, gooseberry, and a hint of crème brûlée. On the palate, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon notes race along, glistening with an edge of brisk lemon pith as the wine races toward a mouthwatering finish of white flower, tarragon, oyster shell, and graceful minerality. A gift to lovers of the rare white classified growths of Pessac-Léognan, this remarkable value offers quality at or near the classified growth level at a cru bourgeois price.
