The 2023 Rosato Calafuria is at once energetic and creamy, striking a natural balance between tart stone fruit, ripe berries and round, almost leesy notes of candle wax and lanolin. This is surprisingly complex for a wine of such large production (more than 50,000 cases). Salty and salivating, I keep dipping back into the bottle. A pretty hint of mint lingers on the close. Yum.
 
Winemaker Notes 
The 2023 Calafuria is a delicate pale pink color. Captivating on the nose with fruity and citrusy notes of pink grapefruits and white peaches accompanied by pleasant hints of marine breezes and delicate aromas of jasmine and irises. The palate is pleasantly fresh defined by outstanding aromatic persistence and delicate savory notes.
