Fantastic Zweigelt and St. Laurent blend from the cooler sites of Gobelsburg & Langelois. After the harvest, the grapes – still with their stems – are softly pressed and then fermented. This rose is similar to a white wine because the acid has not been reduced. Instead, the natural fragrance and fruit nuances of wild cherry and fresh berries make Gobelsburg a versatile food companion.
Schloss Gobelsburg is considered to be a leader in quality and innovation. For the Cistercien Rosé, the Zweigelt and St. Laurent grape varieties grown in the cooler sites of Gobelburg and Langenlois are used. After the harvest, the grapes – still with their stems – are softly pressed and then fermented.

Its fragrance and fruit nuances of wild cherry and fresh berries make this Rosé an optimal universal food companion. Versatile enough to pair with seared duck breast or firm cheeses like Pecorino Romano.
