Spiced red cherries, fresh blue plums and blue flowers on the nose. Smoothly rendered on the palate with a medium body and a juicy, brambly finish of medium-long length. Tannins are fresh and fine-grained. 81% merlot and 19% cabernet franc.

The 2021 Puygueraud is a pretty, floral red driven by bright acids and lovely aromatics. Medium in body and quite gracious, the 2021 is a charmer. Dried red berry fruit, cedar, sweet tobacco, and spice linger in this delicate, understated Cotes de Bordeaux.
