Winemaker Note:
This bold but elegant Cabernet Sauvignon shows features of rich dark chocolate covered coffee beans, candied almonds and toffee. Rich and layered with dense tannins, rich black cherry, with hints of vanilla and spice, the long silky linger of the mid pallet is finished with a velvety smooth finish because of the perfect aging process. This wine can be served with any food pairing or enjoyed on its own. Highlights include the 2021 Napa Cab Blend is a tour of Napa Valley, with a little side trip to Russian River Valley. Amongst the Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard sites are those in Napa's eastern Vaca hills and valleys, from three different hillside estates. The heart of the wine comes from the true heart of the valley, from several blocks in the middle of Rutherford, complimented by both Cabernet and a touch of Malbec from the Oak Knoll District, and then highlights from both ends of the valley, from the northern reach of Calistoga to the very southern reach of Napa on Socol Ridge. And then for dark fruit tension and intrigue, a splash of Sirah from the Russian River Valley
