90 Points James Suckling

Sliced apples, candied lemons, crushed flowers and hints of fresh honey. Medium-bodied, fresh and savory with a green fruit character and juicy acidity. Zesty and a bit sour at the end.

Winemaker Notes

Situated in New Zealand's most established wine growing region, the beguiling beauty of Oyster Bay's elevated terraced vineyards in the Hawke's Bay creates an enchanting Pinot Grigio that captures the delicate aromatic flavours of the variety whilst retaining its natural vibrancy and purity.

Warm days and cool nights create an extended growing season, the fruit ripens slowly developing ?avour intensity and hallmark aromatic characteristics. Its perfumed notes and soft hints of spice introduce a soft, yet delicate style with fresh citrus vitality. A unique cool climate expression of this wonderful varietal. Elegant, crisp and altogether refreshing.

Food Pairings

Pairs perfectly with lightly spiced dishes, seafood, and white meats. Made to be enjoyed within a year or two of the vintage.
