Here's a pretty straightforward Dolcetto that startsff with lots of bold dark fruit but that also has the benefit of fine chalk and hints of flinty minerality. The 2022 Dolcetto d'Alba offers a little more complexity and aspires to more than just monotone blackberry. You get tart cherry and a hint of lilac or another blue flower. 
 
Winemaker Notes
Deep violet in color, the nose is of red and wild berries leaning to cherries w some herbal notes. The gentle tannins are a perfect match for the moderate, but very fresh acidity.
