92 Points Wine Spectator

Supple and engaging, with steeped cherry and cassis melded with ganache and woodsy savory bass notes. Grilled orange peel–edged acidity brings good energy to the warm, ripe profile, while a refreshing menthol note marks the nicely melded close. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Drink now through 2030. 8,000 cases made, 800 cases imported.

Winemaker Note

Pretty purple color with bluish reflections. The first nose is spicy then powerfully fruity and ripe: strawberry jam and raspberry coulis. The mouth is unctuous and velvety. Very ample and greedy. The tannins are chiselled. The finish is very jammy, with a hint of mint that brings back a little tonicity and freshness. The blend dominated by Grenache has remained practically unchanged since its creation and it boasts all the treasures and mythical taste of a great Châteauneuf-du-pape wine. Conceived, cherished and produced by our founding father, Baron le Roy de Boiseaumarié , it delights the lovers of our appellation.
