90 Points VinousThe 2023 Grenache Blanc Paso Robles is bright and fresh, especially for a rich variety grown in a hot climate. Dollops of Picpoul and Roussanne round out the blend. Marzipan, white peach and mint introduce a wine with an enticing texture. Lithe and energetic, it fills out the mid-palate with joyful fruit. Drink: 2024-2027.
Winemaker Notes
Limestone soils, coupled with a warm climate, create ideal growing conditions for this wine. After whole cluster pressing, each varietal was fermented separately. Roussanne was included to enhance mouthfeel. Picpoul brings lively acidity and focus to the restrained stone fruit, mineral palate. This refreshing wine can be enjoyed immediately upon release and will gain complexity over the next four to five years.
