This lively wine boasts aromas of blackberry compote, cardamom, florals, and dried tobacco leaf on the nose. The flavors on the palate are black cherry, orange zest and vanilla cream, spiked with nutmeg, pink peppercorn, dark chocolate and earth, with a dry finish. Pair with Mongolian Beef.

Aromas of cherry and blackcurrant lead with a ripe, fruit-forward entry. Hints of new leather, mocha, sagebrush and baking spices add complexity thanks to the contribution from the American oak barrels used in the aging process. The addition of Petite Sirah provides a velvety texture and length to the finish.

During the growing season, warm days are tempered by cool, evening delta breezes, allowing us to achieve beautiful complexity and balance. The addition of 10-15% Petite Sirah, a nod to our original Twenty Acres, provides additional complexity, depth of flavor, and a more luxurious mouthfeel.
