This red offers up a gorgeous display of steeped blackberry, boysenberry and plum fruit flavors that are harnessed by racy threads of chalk and a mix of mouthwatering savory and rosemary notes. Everything knits wonderfully through the finish. Well built. Best from 2024 through 2038.

Less generous than the 2018, the 2017 Cornas (tasted out of tank prior to bottling) comes across as similarly styled but perhaps a touch more austere. Cracked pepper notes join crushed stone on the nose, while the red currant fruit lines the medium to full-bodied palate.
