Frank Family's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from several different vineyards, largely in the Rutherford area. Aged in one-third new French oak, it offers up mixed red and black cherries accented by oaky spice. It's medium to full-bodied, framed by soft, supple tannins, then firms up a bit on the finish. A solid entry-level effort, it lacks concentration but is a ripe, easygoing, steakhouse red at a realistic price. it should also be easy to find—and sometimes at a discounted price.
